Excellent opportunity for a hands-on Controller & business leader with strong judgement, practical instincts, and a natural sense for how to operate effectively within a growing business. We are searching for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable owning the details, staying close to the numbers, and also contributing well beyond reporting into broader operational initiatives, strategy, and financial decision-making.
In this position you will partner directly with the CFO, Founder, and a small, experienced leadership team that has been with the company long-term. The environment is collaborative, steady, and built on trust in experienced people who know how to get things done without unnecessary oversight. This team takes pride in operational excellence, thoughtful decision-making, and consistently outperforming competitors within their industry.
We are looking for someone who is both capable and curious - someone who thrives at a detailed level but also naturally thinks about how the numbers connect to the broader business. The right person will be confident but not overbearing, ambitious but grounded, and more inclined to ask thoughtful questions than rush to conclusions. You will be given meaningful autonomy while also having significant cross-functional involvement with other leaders and experienced staff across the organization. Leadership believes in giving strong people room to work, take ownership, and manage responsibilities like professionals.
- We are looking for an individual who takes pride in being an excellent leader. Lead and develop a team by creating clarity around expectations, building trust, and empowering people to take ownership of their responsibilities rather than managing every detail of the process.
- Leverage your accounting and operational experience while overseeing accounts payable, the month-end close process, financial controls, financial reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis. You will also coordinate the annual financial audit and partner closely with the company’s CPA firm on tax planning initiatives.
- Manage all core cash and treasury functions - we are searching for someone that will enjoy the analysis and predictive nature of anticipating cash inflows and outflows and positioning the company accordingly for financial success.
- Make a deep impact across the entire company - you will be pulled into key decisions with the executive team and have a “seat at the table” as you grow with the company.

Austin grew up in the greater Omaha area and graduated from Gretna High School. While in high school, Austin wrestled, played varsity football & baseball, and he was a two time state champion powerlifter. While in college, Austin played football for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a student athlete, Austin was added to the Dean’s List, and the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Minor in Management. He was named to the Brook Berringer Citizenship Team and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. Austin volunteered and helped raise awareness and money for pediatric brain cancer research through his involvement in the Nebraska Football Road Race. He supported those in need at the St. Anthony’s Homeless Shelter, others through the Husker Heroes Outreach program, and several school and hospital outreach programs. Austin is an active member of the University of the Nebraska N Club and the Letterman’s Association. As a former Husker, Austin is actively mentoring current student athletes and members of the University of Nebraska Football team through the mentoring program TeamMates. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Growth, the Internal Audit Association, and Austin regularly attends Love Church in West Omaha.
Austin’s interest in business started at an early age when he started Austin Enterprises a lawn mowing, snow removal, and landscaping business at age 12. Austin operated the small business for 11 years through junior high, high school, and college. Austin is an outgoing individual who loves athletics, travel, hiking, being outdoors, and making memories with friends and family. He also recently finished his first full marathon.
