One of Omaha’s distinguished wealth management firms has exclusively retained us in search for a Senior Planning Associate, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to join their growing advisory team.  This is ideal for an accomplished professional with approximately ten years of comprehensive financial planning experience who thrives in a sophisticated, client-focused environment. The selected candidate will partner closely with senior advisors and firm leadership to design, refine, and execute planning strategies that address complex financial needs in retirements, investments, tax and estate strategies, insurance, and wealth planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior advisors to deliver client-centric planning strategies tailored to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth households.

Analyze sophisticated financial data to inform planning recommendations across multi-generational and multi-entity structures.

Deliver financial planning recommendations aligned to the planning philosophy of the firm.

Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships through proactive communication, education, and consistent service excellence.

Contribute to internal process improvements and communication planning best practices within a collaborative, mentorship-oriented culture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a practicing Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
  • Proven track record serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • In-depth understanding of insurance, investment management, estate and tax planning, and advanced wealth management strategies
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, CFP license required, life and health insurance certifications, and a CPA is preferred.

Dave relocated to Nebraska to be near his wife Melissa’s family and is proud to be deeply rooted in Nebraska and a Cornhusker fan!  Dave is a family man who also loves the outdoors, so you might find him hunting, fishing, camping or working with Melissa and their three sons on their small farm.
