Fast growing organization in the agricultural feed production and commodity trading industry has a wonderful opportunity for an ethical, fast-paced, smart, detailed individual to join their team in an important position.  Due to continued growth and internal promotions, this firm has added volume and revenue and, as a result, has added this position to their team.

Work as a part of a team of other accounting / finance & trade professionals who are passionate about the farming and agriculture industry, who enjoy cross-training with each other, sharing best practices and backing each other up when needed.  Work in a fast paced office environment, taking full ownership for impactful, challenging work in a professional, quiet office setting free of distractions or politics. 

In this position, you will take ownership for:

• Build a strong relationship with / partner up closely with one commodity trader and work together to ensure that all contracts are being properly accounted for, and help forecast positions and identify market trends

• Communicate with freight, logistics, operations and customers to ensure that deals flow smoothly through the system accurately and customer expectations are met and exceeded
• Work on proactive, strategic projects that will allow your trader to build a stronger position, expand their customer base and break into new territories
• Cross-train with other peers and back each other up when things get busy, lift each other up when things get stressful and help each other grow upward in the firm in the years ahead
