Wendy has more than 11 years of experience in the recruitment and staffing industry, and more than 6 years of leadership on our team.

Wendy has forged strong relationships with Omaha’s leaders in human resources, business administration, accounting & finance.  She specializes in the placement of Office Administration and Human Resources professionals.  Wendy is called upon to fill administrative positions in large and small companies throughout Omaha and is known for her ability to identify the real star players when Omaha’s most respected companies are in need of an Executive Assistant.  She is known for her quality-focused selection approach, while taking the time to ensure that “the right match” for the client company and the individual we place is achieved.  As a Professional of Human Resources (PHR), Wendy has a keen understanding of the advanced trends, laws and innovative approaches in the field of Human Resources and Recruiting.  She is an active member of Human Resources of the Midlands (HRAM), and eager to provide assistance to her fellow human resource professionals.

After a career in restaurant management and more than three years in customer service and as a Trainer with a financial software firm, Wendy was recruited into Robert Half International’s Accountemps Division.  She was recognized as a top performer and promoted to Director of Accountemps in 1998, where under her leadership, Accountemps reached record performance levels, which still stand today.  Wendy teamed up with Dan Hemphill to launch Hemphill Staffing Solutions in September of 2001.  After the successful launch of Hemphill Staffing Solutions, and in response to the consistent demand from our client companies, she accepted the challenge of launching the Human Resources and Office Administration Divisions of Hemphill Search Group in 2004.

Wendy is a native of Omaha and a graduate of Millard North High School. In May 1987, she graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.  Wendy is our Social Chairman with hobbies including golf, travel, spending time with friends, and the careful selection of Mr. Right.

Beth is in charge of “first impressions” at Hemphill Search Group. In this role, she ensures that all of our candidates and clients are greeted in a way that they know that we genuinely care.  She also plays a key role in our Office Administration division where she coordinates administration, research, database integrity, and marketing initiatives.  Beth also coordinates all testing and assessment for the firm.

Prior to joining Hemphill Search Group, Beth worked as a Staffing Specialist for a large health care provider. She handled a wide variety of duties including staff scheduling, billing, project management, and database management.  She attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Metropolitan Community College where she majored in General Studies.

Beth grew up in Omaha. She and her husband Mike have an energetic daughter Sadie.  Beth enjoys reading historical novels (her favorite is Gone with the Wind), arts and crafts, cooking / baking, going out with friends, and decorating their home.
