I have enjoyed recruiting accounting and
finance professionals for corporations in Omaha
and throughout the upper Midwest for more than
19 years. I joined Robert Half
International in 1988 and was promoted to
Director in 1993. In 1998, I earned their
“Chairman’s Club” award for leadership. In
February 2000, I made the decision to “live my
dream” and founded Hemphill Search Group,
following with Hemphill Staffing Solutions
in 2001. I am proud of our team, the
progress we’ve made to date, and I am even more
excited about our future growth!
I understand that a company is only as strong as
the players it has on the field. I am
passionate about understanding each client's
business, culture, and growth objectives, so we
can identify the individuals who will ultimately
help our clients achieve their goals. Our
reputation is “on the line” each time we
assist a client in hiring a new employee. We
take the time to make sure that we have found
the "right match" so that each candidate
we place is well positioned for success. Since
excellence always endures and remains long
after cost is forgotten, our team is squarely
focused on delivering quality solutions the
first time. Because our Firm is built upon a
foundation of strong values, I know that taking
the “high road” and “doing the right
thing” consistently are the cornerstones to
lasting business relationships.
I grew up in Griswold, Iowa, and graduated from
Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
During college I was a member of the football
team and Students In Free Enterprise. I remain
an active member of the Institute of Management
Accountants after serving for more than 10 years
on its Board of Directors. I am an active
supporter of FEI (Financial Executives
International) and I am a Charter Member of the
Nebraska Chapter of EO (Entrepreneurs
Organization). As a Director of AAFA (American
Association of Finance and Accounting), the
oldest and largest
alliance of executive search firms specializing
in the recruitment and staffing of Finance and
Accounting professionals, I gain exposure to
national issues and trends. I
am an energetic member of the Alumni Board of
Buena Vista University where I am committed to
giving back to the students and leadership team
of Buena Vista University. I am also an active
member of my church, where I serve on the drama
team.
My wife Susie and I have four children, Cameron,
Austin, Miles and Carmel. |

Josh Boesch, CPA
– Senior

Josh
gained valuable experience as a CPA serving
mid-sized and large clients in a variety of
industries. Josh’s broad exposure has given him
the understanding that the single biggest factor
determining the success of a company is largely
dependent upon the quality of the people who
make up the company. While working with client
companies, Josh takes the time to meet with the
hiring authority to gain an in-depth
understanding of the role, main
responsibilities, accomplishments to be
achieved, and the culture of the team.
“I enjoy making a difference and a positive
impact on the lives of the candidates we work
with,” Josh adds. “I recognize how important it
is to really get to know the candidate, so I
have a clear understanding of their strengths,
interests, and short and long-term career
goals.”
Josh earned his Bachelor of Science from
Creighton University with majors in Accounting
and MIS. He worked his way through college and
gained valuable experience with ERP systems
while working as a Software Support Professional
with a local software development firm. After
graduation, Josh earned his CPA while working
for BKD LLP. Raised in Humphrey, Nebraska, Josh
possesses a strong small-town work ethic. He is
active in the community as a member of the
Nebraska Society of Certified Public
Accountants, the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, and the Omaha Chamber of
Commerce’s Young Professionals Council. Josh is
an alumnus of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and a 1st
Degree member of Knights of Columbus.
In his spare time, Josh has fun with friends and
family while boating and jet skiing. Josh also
enjoys working with his Dad while restoring his
1959 T-Bird and 1957 Ford Ranch Wagon.

Angela Rogge –

Angela
brings a rich background with more than
13 years of experience within executive
support, administration, marketing, and project
management to Hemphill Search Group. She plays a
key role while focused on research, analysis, database
integrity, and selection analytics. In addition,
Angela works closely with our candidates
throughout the search process to ensure that
each individual we work with receives the
service they deserve.
Angela spent the majority of her career within
the financial, and risk management / insurance
industries. She started in customer care,
progressed into human resources, and most
recently, provided executive support where her
duties included project management, marketing,
regulatory compliance, and event planning for a
large firm. Angela also provided executive
support to the President and CEO of an
international investment banking firm.
She grew up in Weeping Water, Nebraska
(population 1,000) and graduated from Southeast
Community College in Lincoln with a degree in
Human Services. Angela has two
daughters—Abigail who is 10 and two-year-old
Pressley. When she is not spending time with
her children, Angela enjoys hanging out with
friends, listening to live music, exercising,
and relaxing with a good book and a glass of
wine. |

Laura
has more than 9 years of recruiting and
staffing experience, and has played a key role
on the Hemphill Search Group team for more than
6 years.
Laura’s upbeat attitude, “how can I help”
approach, and passion for customer service has
made her a pillar within our Firm's foundation.
Laura plays a key role in helping our recruiters
find the “right candidate for the job” and works
closely with our candidates throughout the
search process to ensure they receive the
service they deserve. Laura’s focus is on
the core processes that lead us to success
including the
extensive research that leads us to the right
candidates, database integrity and analysis,
file management, and background checks.
Laura also plays a leadership role in the
administration, marketing, systems management
and creative aspects of our firm.
Laura’s recruiting career began with Sitel
Corporation where she interviewed, selected, and
hired customer service representatives. After
more than two years with a national staffing firm,
Laura brought her experience and passion for
excellence to Hemphill Search Group in 2001.
Laura
grew up in Orange City, Iowa, graduated from
Northwest Iowa Community College and studied
human relations at Northwestern College. Laura
and her husband Ed enjoy UNO Maverick hockey,
traveling, decorating their new home, and their
growing family, which currently consists of a
high-energy dog.
